Job Mission:The Corporate Process Safety Engineer, is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the process safety management (PSM) systems, policies, and procedures across all manufacturing sites. The role works closely with site-based process safety engineers and the corporate HSE team to ensure that DOMO processes are designed, operated, and maintained safely, and that DOMO is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of the corporate PSM program that includes risk assessment, process design and equipment integrity, operating procedures, maintenance practices, and emergency response plans
- Review and analyse process safety accident data and potentials process safety events from multiple sites to identify opportunities for improvement in process safety, support the sites in the investigation
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to site-based process safety engineers and other stakeholders on PSM-related matters
- Support the sites in process safety risk assessments
- Participate in corporate HSE audits and inspections and ensure that corrective actions are implemented across all sites
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure that new processes are designed with safety in mind and comply with relevant regulations and standards
IHR PROFIL
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience in process safety management and process safety risk assessments (e.g. HAZOP), preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Knowledge and experience of SEVESO guidelines and PSM standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization
- fluent communication skills in English and German; French or other languages are a plus
- Readiness to travel
