  • Support polymerisation units: Central point of contact for any deviation of any polymerization process. The role is also ensuring DOMOs competitiveness of Polymerization process. Support of Sales and Customer relation
  • Industrialisation means the improvement of existing and implementation/scaling up of new polymerisation processes to industrial production. The main tasks include:
    • Process development & optimisation
    • Transfer of new polymerisation processes to industrial scale
    • Increasing the efficiency and reducing the costs of processes
    • Adaptation to existing production plants
    • Identification and solution of scaling problems
    • Sustainability & regulatory requirements
    • Optimisation of resource and energy consumption
    • Compliance with environmental and safety regulations
    • Interface between research & development, production and engineering
    • Training employees in new processes/ grades transfers between DOMOs polymerization plants

  • Consolidate and develop the know-how and the benchmark knowledge in the concerned domain.

    • Drive technological watch, identify best technologies, evaluate and recommend innovating technologies.
    • support knowledge transfer between polymerization plants/ documentation
  • Ensure DOMO technology performance and competitiveness in polymerisation:
    • Evaluate, challenge and follow processes performance (OEE, yield, energy, process perf indicator-Mass balance)
    • Advise plants on the definition of specific process’ KPI/specific monitoring and targets (incl MDC, target yield…); Definition of process parameters

    • Lead PIT process and ensure follow up of decided actions; lead delivering VR (process & energy & Yield) /Quality/ OEE improvements for Polymers activities

  • Support in technical process issues (root course support); plant support in case of incident/crisis (identify issue, help to fix and to restart) to minimize time off and costs
  • Participate and implement DOMO Industrial strategy on the concerned domain:
    • Participate on engineering pre-studies related to process change (growth, performance, sustainability or innovation) and peripheric changes
    • Interface R&D/Plants for innovation and significant adaptation or innovation (project evaluation, industrialization studies, startup)

  • Support EM industrialisation team for specific polymer choices (from process point of view)
  • Support commercial and plants/QA:
    • Support to answer claims /root course analysis
    • Advise customers on their process Domo products efficiency
