As Head of Sales for the CIG Market, you will drive sales growth, profitability, and innovation by leading a team of Sales Account Managers and Global Key Account Managers. You’ll be responsible for the sales pipeline, contract management, and the successful launch of new products and applications. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, customer-centricity, and continuous development.
Your Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Define customer portfolios, set SMART objectives, and coach your team to deliver outstanding results. Promote succession planning and foster a high-performing, empowered team.
- Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management: Implement and oversee the sales strategy for the CIG market. Ensure pipeline quality, timely updates, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Sales Excellence: Drive adoption of best practices in account planning, pipeline development, and reporting. Encourage innovative sales tools and methodologies.
- Key Account & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations and execution for Key Accounts and Global Key Accounts. Ensure alignment with strategic goals and long-term partnerships.
- Innovation & Market Growth: Promote new products and applications. Collaborate with Application Center, Technical, and Product Management teams to align development with customer needs.
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Input: Analyze market trends and customer insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Operational Excellence & Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, enhance customer satisfaction, and streamline sales processes.
IHR PROFIL
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer Engineering, or Business, and bring:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development in a relevant industry
- Strong network in the CIG market, from OEMs to Tier 1 and Tier 2
- Proven success in managing Key Accounts and Global Key Accounts
- Experience in launching innovative products and driving market growth
- Leadership experience with full KPI accountability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales operations
- Fluent English (C1 level or higher); other European languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 60% of the time)
